Gurkha Tea Nepal Map

Tea from the foothill of the himalayas

Our farms are located in Shree Antu, Ilam, also known as the tea garden of Eastern Nepal. The high altitude, regular monsoon rain, steep slopes and well drained red-ocher soil makes for the ideal climate for tea cultivation.

As farmers, it is important to understand the significance of well-nurtured land and the life it brings. Thus, regular planting of trees is undertaken to protect local bio-culture, to benefit our future generation and to prevent deforestation, one of the main causes of landslides in Nepal.

Using organic methods of farming, our land is carefully nurtured to give you the best teas from the foothills of the Himalayas.

Free from pesticides and fertilisers.
